Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, and scripts. We use them to run the site securely, remember your preferences, and—only if you agree—measure traffic and marketing performance.
This Cookie Policy explains how AIUnpacker ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies onaiunpacker.com (the "Service"). It should be read together with ourPrivacy Policy.
2. How We Ask for Consent
When you first visit, we show a cookie banner where you can:
- Accept all — enable Analytics, Marketing, and Functional cookies
- Essential only — reject non-essential cookies
- Settings — turn categories on or off individually, then Save
Non-essential cookies and tags are not used for storage-based tracking until you opt in (via Google Consent Mode for Google tags, and by gating other optional scripts/pixels). You can reopen preferences anytime using Cookie settings in the footer or the cookie button on the page.
3. Cookie Categories We Use
Essential (always on)
Required for basic operation and security. This includes storing your cookie preference (first-party storage keyaiu_cc_v3 and/or an equivalent first-party cookie) so we do not re-prompt you every page load. Essential cookies cannot be turned off through the banner without breaking preference memory.
Analytics (optional)
When you enable Analytics (or choose Accept all), we load privacy-focused and product analytics tools so we can understand traffic and improve the Service. Analytics scripts are not activated until you opt in.
Umami Cloud (website ID 224f1ef7-cd1c-4df6-90a4-19c017ddb0ab): a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics service loaded from cloud.umami.is. It records aggregate page views and optional custom events (for example newsletter signups, outbound clicks, and share actions) without advertising profiles. We configure it to respect Do Not Track and to run only on aiunpacker.com / www.aiunpacker.com. SeeUmami’s Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics 4 via the Google tag (measurement IDG-N7KJTRMZQG). The tag is present sitewide with Consent Mode v2 defaults set to deny analytics storage until you accept Analytics or Accept all. After opt-in, GA may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visitors and sessions (subject to Google’s implementation and your browser settings).
Data may include pages viewed, approximate location, device/browser information, and traffic sources. We configure IP anonymization where supported for Google Analytics. SeeGoogle’s Privacy PolicyandGoogle Analytics data safeguards.
Marketing & advertising (optional)
When enabled, we may use cookies or pixels for sponsored placement measurement, affiliate commission attribution, and—if activated on the Service—Google advertising products (for example AdSense). Marketing storage for Google tags remains denied under Consent Mode until you accept Marketing or Accept all.
Personalized ads opt-out (Google):adssettings.google.com. Partner sites explanation:Google partner sites policy.
Functional (optional)
Optional enhancements that remember non-critical interface choices across visits (for example dismissed UI prompts). Only set if you enable Functional cookies.
