Terms of service

These terms cover use of the site, reviews, paid placements, and liability. A payment does not change a verdict. A fully paid placement stays published for at least 12 months, with the exceptions in section 4.

1. Acceptance of terms

Welcome to AIUnpacker ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the aiunpacker.com website and its content, including reviews, articles, prompts, newsletters, directories, and related features (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

AIUnpacker provides information, reviews, comparisons, and analysis of artificial intelligence tools and related topics. The Service is offered for personal and professional informational use. You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting unauthorized access, scraping in a way that harms the Service, distributing malware, or interfering with others' use of the Service. You must comply with applicable laws when using the Service.

3. Intellectual property

All content on AIUnpacker—including text, graphics, logos, images, layouts, and compilations—is owned by AIUnpacker or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission, except for limited personal sharing with attribution and links back to the original page.

4. Affiliate disclosure and sponsored content

AIUnpacker is funded by a mix of affiliate commissions, sponsorships, and advertising. We participate in affiliate programs and may earn a commission when you click links or purchase products. Vendor payments never change our editorial conclusions, scores, or verdicts. Sponsored content is labeled as such.

Sponsored content, paid placements, and advertisements are disclosed (for example with "Sponsored," "Advertisement," or similar labeling). When a product is accessible, a review is hands-on. When it is not, the review is deep research assembled from public online sources. Our Editorial Policy describes that process and how commercial relationships stay separate from scores.

Minimum 12-month paid-placement guarantee

For every fully paid sponsored article, sponsored review, contextual link placement, paid tool listing, bundle asset, or other paid promotional placement that AIUnpacker accepts (each a "Paid Placement"), AIUnpacker guarantees that the Paid Placement will remain published and materially accessible for at least 12 consecutive months from its initial publication date. The applicable order, invoice, or written agreement may provide a longer period, but not a shorter one.

The guarantee does not require us to keep a Paid Placement live if the sponsor requests removal, fails to pay, materially breaches these Terms or the applicable agreement, supplies unlawful or materially deceptive content, links to malicious or unlawful material, prevents required sponsorship disclosures, or if continued publication would create a material legal or security risk. We may make routine editorial, formatting, disclosure, URL, or technical changes during the guarantee period, provided the Paid Placement remains materially equivalent and accessible.

If AIUnpacker removes or makes a qualifying Paid Placement unavailable before the end of the guaranteed period for a reason outside those exceptions, the sponsor may choose one of the following remedies:

  • Restoration of the original placement
  • A materially equivalent replacement for the unserved portion of the period
  • A pro-rata refund for the unserved portion

The 12-month period is a minimum guarantee and does not require automatic removal when that period ends.

5. Third-party tools, links, and services

Reviews and links may point to third-party websites, apps, and tools we do not control. Their terms, pricing, features, and privacy practices can change without notice. We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or services. Your use of third-party products is solely between you and that provider.

6. Privacy, cookies, and analytics

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

We use essential cookies and, with your consent via our cookie banner, optional analytics and marketing technologies. We use Umami Cloud (privacy-focused analytics; website ID 224f1ef7-cd1c-4df6-90a4-19c017ddb0ab) only after Analytics consent, and Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-N7KJTRMZQG) with Google Consent Mode so non-essential storage is not enabled until you opt in. You can change cookie preferences at any time through Cookie settings on the site.

7. User submissions

If you submit a tool listing, contact message, or other materials, you represent that you have the right to share that information and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant us a non-exclusive license to use submission details as needed to evaluate, respond to, or (where agreed) publish related content. We may reject or remove submissions at our discretion.

8. Disclaimers

  • As is: Content is provided "as is" for informational purposes. We do not warrant completeness, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • No professional advice: Nothing on the Service is financial, legal, investment, or professional advice. Decisions you make based on our content are at your own risk.
  • Third-party tools: We do not guarantee performance, security, uptime, pricing, or continued availability of any third-party AI product.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIUnpacker and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any third-party conduct or content; or (c) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.

10. Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless AIUnpacker from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms at any time. We will revise the "Last Updated" date when Terms change. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms, subject to any non-waivable consumer protections that apply in your place of residence.
