AIUnpacker ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visitaiunpacker.com and use related features such as our newsletter, contact forms, and tool submissions (collectively, the "Service"). If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in the following ways:
- Information you provide: Email address and any other details you submit when you subscribe to our newsletter, contact us, submit a tool, or send a startup pitch. You are not required to provide personal information to browse most of the Service.
- Usage and device data: When you access the Service, we and our processors may receive technical data such as IP address (which may be truncated or anonymized where configured), browser type and version, device type, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps, and approximate location derived from IP.

4. Cookies, Consent & Analytics
We use a first-party cookie consent banner so you can choose Accept all, Essential only, or open Settings to toggle Analytics, Marketing, and Functional cookies. Essential cookies (including storing your consent choice) are always active. You can change non-essential choices anytime via Cookie settings in the footer or the cookie button on the site.
Umami Cloud: After you accept Analytics (or Accept all), we load Umami Cloud analytics (website ID 224f1ef7-cd1c-4df6-90a4-19c017ddb0ab) from cloud.umami.is. Umami is a privacy-focused analytics product used for page views and custom product events (for example newsletter success, outbound link clicks, and share actions). It is configured with Do Not Track support and domain restriction to our production hostnames. Umami does not load until Analytics consent is granted. See theUmami Privacy Policy.
Google Analytics 4 (Google tag): We also use Google Analytics 4 with measurement IDG-N7KJTRMZQG. The Google tag is loaded sitewide with Google Consent Mode v2. By default, analytics and advertising storage are denied. Full analytics measurement (including standard GA cookies where applicable) is enabled only after you accept Analytics cookies or choose Accept all. Until then, Google may receive limited cookieless or consent-mode signals as described in Google’s documentation.
Analytics data helps us understand which pages are popular, how visitors find us, and how to improve content and site performance. IP anonymization is enabled in our Google tag configuration where supported.
Marketing / advertising: If you accept Marketing cookies, we may allow sponsored placement measurement, affiliate attribution cookies, and (if enabled on the Service) Google advertising tags such as AdSense. 5. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:
- Service providers: Vendors who help us run the Service (for example email delivery platforms, hosting/CDN such as Cloudflare, form processing, Umami Cloud analytics, and Google Analytics). They process data on our instructions or as independent controllers under their own policies (e.g. Umami, Google).
- Affiliate and commercial partners: When you click outbound or affiliate links, those third parties may receive referral data and set their own cookies subject to their policies.
- Legal and safety: Where required by law, or to protect rights, security, and integrity of the Service and our users.
6. International Data Transfers
We may process and store information on servers located outside your country of residence (including the United States), for example when using Umami Cloud, Google Analytics, or global hosting providers. 7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.
- Newsletter: Unsubscribe using the link in any email.
- Cookies: Use Cookie settings on the site, or control cookies in your browser.
- Access / correction / deletion: Contact us at the email below. We may need to verify your request.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Retention
We retain newsletter and form data for as long as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. Analytics data is retained according to our Umami Cloud website settings, Google Analytics property settings, and each provider’s policies. Consent preferences are stored in your browser (local storage and/or a first-party cookie) until you clear them or change them.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
