We are committed to providing our audience with clear, honest reviews, explainers, and news — and to disclosing every sponsorship and paid placement — to empower effective decision-making in the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.

2. Core Principles

Editorial Independence: Our reviews and analysis are the result of our own product testing when we have access, and deep research when we don't. Clearly labeled sponsored articles and reviews, relevant paid link placements, and affiliate commissions fund the site, but no sponsor or vendor may dictate scores, rankings, or verdicts. Sponsored content is labeled as such.
Objectivity and Fairness: We strive to provide a balanced and fair assessment of every tool we review. We highlight both the strengths and weaknesses to give you a complete picture, allowing you to make an informed decision based on your specific needs.
Accuracy and Reliability: We are committed to accuracy. All factual information, such as features and pricing, is verified at the time of publication. The AI space moves quickly, and we make every reasonable effort to keep our content up-to-date. If you find an inaccuracy, please let us know.

3. Our Review Methodology

We test the product when we have access. When we don't, we run deep research. We do not imply we used a product we could not log into. While the exact criteria may vary by tool category, our general process includes:

Product testing: If we can get in, we sign up and run a real workflow — setup, core features, edge cases, exports, and failure modes.
Deep research: If we cannot get in, we go through official docs, pricing, changelogs, privacy/security pages, public benchmarks, and comparable tools, and we say the review is research-based.
Evaluation Criteria: We assess tools based on a consistent set of criteria, including:
- Core Functionality: Does the tool deliver on its primary promise effectively?
- Usability & Ease of Use: How intuitive is the interface? Scored only when we ran the product.
- Output Quality: For generative tools, quality and relevance of output — from use when we have access; from documented examples and public evidence when we don't.
- Value for Money: How does the pricing compare to the features offered and its competitors?
- Innovation & Features: Does the tool offer unique features or an innovative approach to solving a problem?
Rating System: Tools may receive a 1–5 rating when the evidence supports one. It is a snapshot of what we could test or verify at the time — not a guess at a product we never opened.

4. Transparency and Disclosures

We believe in being upfront with our audience about how we operate and fund our work. AIUnpacker is funded through clearly labeled sponsored articles and reviews, relevant paid link placements, and affiliate commissions where explicitly disclosed.

Affiliate Links: When a page includes affiliate links, we disclose that. If you click a disclosed affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Commissions do not change our scoring, verdicts, or recommendations. We do not claim affiliate relationships on pages where none are configured.
Sponsored articles: Brand-funded educational or promotional articles are labeled Sponsored at the top. Sponsors may review factual claims but may not disguise promotional content as independent reporting.
Sponsored reviews: A company may fund the production of a review, but payment does not guarantee a positive score, ranking, or verdict. The sponsor may correct factual errors; AIUnpacker retains final editorial control.
Paid link placements: Paid links are accepted only when relevant to the surrounding content. They are disclosed and use rel="sponsored nofollow". AIUnpacker does not sell dofollow links or ranking positions.
Minimum placement period: Fully paid placements are guaranteed to remain published for at least 12 consecutive months from initial publication, subject to the exceptions and remedies in ourTerms of Service.

5. Corrections and Updates Policy

We are dedicated to providing accurate information. If we discover an error of fact, we will correct it as promptly as possible. Significant corrections will be noted within the article for transparency. As AI tools are constantly updated, we will periodically review and update our articles to reflect major changes in features or pricing.
