Canva is a freemium graphic design platform built around a drag-and-drop editor and the Canva AI suite (rebranded from Magic Studio), used by 265M+ monthly active users for social posts, presentations, documents, videos, and brand assets. It expanded into a Creative Operating System with Visual Suite 2.0 (April 2025), Canva Sheets, Canva Code (Canva Code 2.0 in July 2026), and the agentic Canva AI 2.0 (April 2026), while remaining headquartered in Sydney and operating independently. Canva reported US$4B ARR at the end of 2025, then marked down its internal valuation and cut its growth forecast in August 2026 as AI costs rose.
