Cognition's current coding model is SWE-2, introduced September 10, 2026, and the company also ships Fusion, a frontier harness for Anthropic's Fable and OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra that it reports as up to 39% more efficient than other harnesses across major coding benchmarks.
